BUNKY GREEN - PLACES WE'VE NEVER BEEN 1979


Bunky Green is an extrodinary musician, a disciple of the Charlie Parker bop style during his teenage years, his experience with Mingus opened up his development into a wholly unique fashion. This is his third and final recording for the Vanguard label, unfortunatley the first two do not do the man justice (record company dictators) but here Bunky gets free reign to express and explore within his music, with a great line up of sidemen to assist.
